Seven meals sit in Gwangalli. Charcoal ribs, clams, grilled fish, pork soup, and crab. They do not add up to one afternoon.

Window tables toward the bridge fill first. A few grills open late and skip lunch.

Thick jjokgalbi with a clean charcoal smell and little pork funk. Salt ribs have enough lean meat. Seasoned ribs lean sweet and sticky. The old-school lunchbox and nurungji beat a plain side. Staff watch the grill. The small room gets hot when every table is full.

Back ribs come partly cooked, so the table still gets charcoal time. Onion soy sauce gives a sweet edge. Meat pulls off the bone without going mushy. The 1 kg plate is enough for two, with neat sides and rice. Soft tofu ramen or soybean paste stew stretches it. The room is bright. Staff stay close when families are on the bones.

Scallops bubble under cheese. Clams are clean and sweet. Larger platters bring shrimp, crab, sauces, and small sides. Staff trim shells and explain the grill. Portions run large, and the free ramen keeps it casual. The room gets loud. Window seats fill because the bridge is right there.

Seasoning stays gentle. Jeju cutlassfish stew has a sweet, thick sauce that clings to rice. Grilled fish is crisp outside and moist inside. Sides are mild. The room does not fight a fishy smell. Allergy requests are taken seriously. A calm lunch works here.

Pork broth is clean and still deep. Pork belly gukbap stays hot in the stone bowl, with enough meat. Chives from the self bar and sharp kkakdugi cut the broth. Bone hangover soup is the rougher bowl. Solo seats and groups both fit. Food can wait when the room is busy.

Snow crab and king crab come cut open. The meat slips out. Steam stays clean, without harsh salt. Sides fill the table. Crab-shell fried rice is the second act. The room faces the water.

Dosi Crab is the one that needs a reservation.
