안녕하세요, What's Up Korea Story의 Minjae예요.

We looked at Haeundae food — three stops from the station. Not cafes. Not the beach-tourist list. These are rooms Koreans still sit in.

01 · Haeundae

Geumsu Bokkuk · 금수복국

Ten minutes from Haeundae Station exit 1. The old puffer house, not a beach stall. Eunbokguk — clean broth, chewy. This is the bowl people still come to Haeundae for before the street gets loud.

02 · Haeundae

Haemok · 해목

Gunam-ro. The blue-wall room, four minutes from exit 5. Hitsumabushi — unagi, rice, the three ways they want it eaten. The sit is the eel, then out. Not a second bowl.

03 · Haeundae

Budamyeonok · 부다면옥

Budamyeonok moved here from Banyeo. Soba — buckwheat, hanwoo broth, a lighter close after soup and eel. Six minutes from exit 1. A bowl people finish without sitting through another course.

Three stops. Bokguk, eel, soba — the Haeundae food that still holds up.
